Jack's Steak House

Wasn't expecting to be as nice as it was - steak was great for a good price. Great atmosphere, mostly "locals" and really easy to pick your steak meal. Recommended.

The place is pretty famous but I did not expect to fall in line at around 10 PM! But the service was very fast so people come and go so fast too. I ordered the tenderloin steak (medium rare) and the waiting was worth it. The meat was lightly seasoned (quite disappointing if you want a richly flavored steak you can eat-and-go) and so tender! You can adjust the taste by trying all the condiments (like salt & pepper, No. 1 sauce) available.

Cool little nostalgic restaurant with history literally written on the walls. Really quick service with friendly staff. They don't have a lot of options which is great and makes it easier to decide what to eat.

Value for money and I enjoy to foodwoth local. Food is good.

It was pretty good, Australian steak was served on a hot plate with onions and potatoes, on the side was a simple soup and salad. It was a very long wait to get in, so it is a very popular place.

I was able to catch my seat because I visited at 11 o'clock on weekdays, but if I was a little late I could have waited.The quality of the steak was good for the price and it was a good price for the family to feel free to enjoy.In particular, it felt like they had not changed the old interior so much, and it seemed to emphasize that they started operating in 1953. It was also an advantage to me that there were fewer tourists than other stake houses on the international streets.

We ordered tenderloin and tacos. Both very good.

Reasonable Price and delicious. I waited for 30 mins but it was worthy. If you want to eat the steak in Okinawa, visit here!

I like the steak very much

I ordered a rare sirloin steak (M size) with rice. It was delicious! Steak was tender and flavorful. On top of that, there was a huge variety of sauces and seasonings to go with the steak. Restaurant was extremely crowded though. I would advice going earlier to avoid the crowd.

Highly recommended must try steakhouse. Beef is excellent & cheap for the price we pay. Fry chicken a bit too dry. Be prepare to wait for more than half an hour. Will surely come back. 👏👏👏👏

This restaurant served us fresh quality beef, delicious tacos and tasty '70s orange soda. The atmosphere is very vibrant - there are many very well kept photos and awards. The seats and tables are very comfortable and the service is fast and corteous. My mother and I really enjoyed the food and had an amazing experience at this restaurant - it is amazing how long this establishment has been running. The 55 years seem to have changed very little since its humble beginnings, it feels like a step into the past entering this restaurant. Everything is maintained very well and the business has sustained for half a decade because the workers care about the business and its customers. It is hard to find such well kept historical restaurants in this day and age.

good quality steak with reasonable price.

Jack's Tenderloin was excellent! Just the right color inside and out and oh so tender. The only downside on a Thursday night was that everyone else had the same idea, to eat at Jack's. I agree with many other posts, this is a must visit spot for those visiting Okinawa.

Large portion of steaks. Delicious! Quite a number of customers but Fast waiting time!

I wasn't sure about the popularity of this place at first. Thought it was just a hype but oh boy I was wrong. The done-ness was perfect(medium-rare for me) and the steak was very juicy. You have to be really patient, the Q to a table is a really long one. It's worth the wait though.

Tacos are also so good.

Very good food and quite reasonably priced. Their cheeseburger was great. Jack's is a hotspot in Naha and is often very busy.

This is where locals have steaks. Love my medium rare tenderloin. Q wasn't long as expected. They have about 10 parking lots but also a paid parking nearby if full

Fair price and delicious steak.

Not bad for a late night food. The seats are always full. You have to wait in line for at least 30 mins to get in. We came here at 9pm and saw a lot of people waiting outside. They serve very quickly. The beef taste great with reasonable price. Don’t miss it if you come to NAHA Okinawa.

Good quality steak w/ reasonable price where locals went

One of the famous steak house in Okinawa. We visited around 0930pm but still need to wait near 30mins. Food is not bad and tasty. The price is not expensive but only limited car park for driver.

Boy I was promised a good steak 🥩 and I got one. Never mind the 1h30 wait to get a seated. This place is so popular that you might have to arm yourself with a bit of patience (especially on Golden week).I definetly recommend the tenderloin in medium rare. It is jucy and melts in the mouth.... However, I wouldn't go for the thin pork chops; a friend ordered them and they were quite dry. But to be honest who orders this in famous steakhouse? Order steak and you will have a great meal.

Very famous

Went on a Friday night for dinner slightly before 7 and it was a 50 minutes wait. The beef served was of good quality and perfectly cooked per our request (I recommend medium rare for the tenderloin). Quality of the beef is value for the price paid. Overall a good eat. But be prepared to write your name and wait.

Waiting around 1 hour to dinner in this restaurant, quite famous and I saw most are the Japanese customers. They serve very fast after we order our foods. The steak is nice and worth to try. Remind that come early for dinner if not it will be your supper.

Decent steak with touch of old times. Many locals seems to enjoy. Kind staff. If waiting is longer than 30mins, not recommended. Good to try but not a must.

Went at 10.30 pm and the place was full. No empty tables. At 11.15 pm when we funished eating and on our way out, there must have been about 30 people in line waiting. Food and service was nice abd memorable.

I had to wait for nearly 40 minutes but it was worth it. The steaks are reasonably priced and very tasty. I recommend coming here.

I am not sure what the big fuss is about. I thought it was a pretty average tasting steak. I got the tenderloin, medium rare. It comes with a creamy soup and a plate of rice.If the price was around 1,300 yen, I think I would’ve given it four stars... 2,000+ yen? Eh...

It's a populate place and could get really crowded, but wait time for 10 minutes for table is worth it. I took the burger and tacos. The burger meat had a nice grilled crust, and taco salsa was hot and good.

Japanese style steak house. Better try if you are rraveling at Naha.

Quick and delicious food. Great atmosphere and support quick service. My steak was a bit on the medium rare side, when I had asked for medium, that's what cost them the star. Aside from that I found the food and service to be excellent. I will come back, the next time in town.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! The line out the door at 9pm tipped me off that this was the spot to get a good steak! Excellent steak, fast service, and reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back!

An old place that it should have been carrying lots of history n memories of the people in there. Food is Japanese / Taiwanese style America steak. Food quality is just so so n service is warm n friendly. Nevertheless, people come here is to experience the atmosphere n retrieve their beautiful memories in the good old days.
